A UCLA graduate, Sam attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles — home to the #1 trial advocacy program in the Western United States — where he served as a law clerk in the LA County District Attorney's Office in the Crimes Against Peace Officers and Major Narcotics sections.
His very first case as a clerk was featured on CBS's hit crime series "48 Hours Mystery."
Upon earning his JD, Sam joined the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office — the largest prosecutorial agency in the nation — where he served for over nine years. He tried over 60 cases before a jury, ranging from misdemeanor DUI to high-profile murder trials. Of the thousands of DUI cases he prosecuted, he never lost a single one.
Sam also served in the prestigious Victim Impact Program (VIP) unit, handling some of the most serious and complex cases in the office — including domestic violence and sex crimes — receiving media coverage from CNN, Huffington Post, LA Times, ABC, NBC, FOX, KCAL, KTLA, TMZ, and the Daily Breeze.
When Sam left the DA's Office to enter private practice, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office issued him an official commendation for his dedicated service. That distinction reflects not just his record, but his reputation among colleagues and leadership.
